Global Hunter's focus is on strategic and base metals, with an advanced stage copper oxide project in Chile and a highly prospective molybdenum property in British Columbia, Canada. Molybdenum is a grayish - silver metal. It comes from with Greek word "molybdaena" which means lead. Molybdenum is a "transition element" which is the same with groups 3-12 on the periodic table. The use of Molybdenum has increased steadily over many years.
Most Molybdenum is mined in the United States, Chile, and Canada. It has many important elements about it. This element is both ductile and malleable. It conducts electricity and heat. The symbol is MO and the atomic number in 42. The mass is another important substance about Molybdenum, which is 95.94.
In the 1800's Molybdenum was used mostly in dyes and other products. Then in 1849 gray molybdenum was formed in an electric furnace.
