Cleantech Transit Inc. (CLNO)

Biomass is any plant or animal matter used to produce energy. Many plants and plant-derived materials can be used for energy production; the most common is wood. Other sources include food crops, grasses, agricultural residues, manure and methane from landfills. In the U.S., the primary biomass fuels are wood, biofuels and various waste products. Biofuels include alcohols, synfuels and biodiesel, a fuel made from grain and animal fats. Waste consists of municipal solid waste, landfill gas, agricultural byproducts and other material.

Cleantech Transit Inc. (CLNO)

Biomass energy or bio-energy is the energy from plants and plant-derived materials since people began burning wood to cook food and keep warm. The most obvious benefit of biomass energy is that biomass is renewable source of energy, meaning that it cannot be depleted as is the case with fossil fuels. Biomass indeed helps reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions that give more impact to global warming and climate change. Though biomass is connected with a certain level of emissions, this level is far smaller compared to current energy sources like fossil fuels. The third benefit of biomass energy is that biomass can help clean our environment. World population is constantly increasing, and with the increase in population there is also a problem of increased waste which needs to be properly disposed.

The automated and integrated metrology systems of Nanometrics Incorporated (Nasdaq:NANO) measure critical dimensions, device structures, overlay registration, topography and various thin film properties, including film thickness as well as optical, electrical and material properties. The process control solutions of Nanometrics are deployed throughout the fabrication process, from front-end-of-line substrate manufacturing, to high-volume production of semiconductors and other devices, to advanced wafer-scale packaging applications. The systems of Nanometrics enable device manufacturers to improve yields, increase productivity and lower their manufacturing costs. Nanometrics maintains its headquarters in Milpitas, California, with sales and service offices worldwide.

Nanometrics is a leading provider of advanced, high-performance process control metrology systems used primarily in the fabrication of semiconductors, high-brightness LEDs, data storage devices and solar photovoltaics. Nanometrics yesterday announced its Atlas® XP+ optical critical dimension (OCD) system has been selected by a leading disk drive manufacturer for process control metrology with follow-on orders at multiple fabs. The system orders follow the successful installation of an initial Atlas XP+ system, which was selected over an incumbent competitive product. In its position as “tool of record,” the Atlas system will be used to provide OCD metrology in the production of the customer’s next generation thin-film heads.

“Our OCD metrology solution provides information about the most critical features of customers’ devices and offers insight that directly correlates to performance and improved yields,” said David Doyle, vice president of Nanometrics’ Semiconductor Business Unit. “The high-speed Atlas XP+ enables non-destructive, in-line metrology of complex structures, which leads to a higher process control capability and lower overall cost of manufacturing.”

As drive manufacturers work to increase the performance and density of hard drives by shrinking device geometries, new challenges arise. Among these is the need to achieve uniform device features in thin-film heads. The Atlas XP+ system enables customers to characterize microscopic features and numerous critical parameters of their head designs that can affect performance. The technology provides a fast means of measuring these features and helps manufacturers to achieve higher device yield. To optimize the modeling of structures and accelerate time to data, the Atlas XP+ also leverages Nanometrics’ NanoCD™ Suite, a turnkey OCD analysis solution with advanced modeling and intuitive recipe building capabilities.

Global Hunter (GBLHF)

Global Hunter's focus is on strategic and base metals, with an advanced stage copper oxide project in Chile and a highly prospective molybdenum property in British Columbia, Canada. GBLHF teams are working on developing the Corona de Cobre property in Chile and the Rabbit south property in British Columbia.

La Corona de Cobre, Chile:

+18,000 hectare land package in coastal belt of Andean Cordillera of Chile on the Atacama Fault Zone.("Chilean Iron-Copper Belt")

Project Highlights
- Copper oxide deposit, leachable
- Existing NI 43-101 Resource Estimate (225 million pounds of copper)
- Management with proven track record
- Highly qualified technical team
- Low operating costs of appr. $ 1.00/lb (preliminary calculation)
- Substatntial upside potential (resource covers less than 0.1% of total area)

Rabbit South, British Columbia:

1,900 hectare land package between two of British Columbia's most successful copper mines (Afton and Highland Valley)

Project Highlights
- 1,900 hectares 26km from Kamloops, British Columbia, between the Afton and Highland Valley copper mines
- 86 holes drilled on property from 1979 to 2005
- Two large target areas identified
- Recent drilling confirms presence of wide-spread near-surface molybdenum mineralization

Copper is one of the ancient metals and has excellent properties that make it one of the widely used metals around the globe. Copper is utilized in various forms to let the metal adapt to different uses. Copper is modified into copper bar, copper rod, copper wire, cadmium copper, copper tubing and many more. There are various industries including industrial, commercial, manufacturing, mining, aerospace, railways, automobiles, defense, electrical, construction and many others that make use of copper bar for their daily operations.

The thickness, length, width of copper bar can be modified as per required needs. With superior quality, good performance and durability, copper bar is effectively implemented in all sorts of purposes. Copper bar is highly conductive, corrosion resistant, ductile and less vulnerable to electromechanical. The benefits of copper and its inherent properties are tapped to produce the best of copper forms. With the advancement of technologies, it has become easier to form alloys and varied forms of the metal and make proper use of them.
